The Vegetarian Charity
For students under the age of 25 who are contemplating the financial costs of attending our training courses we can advise that the Vegetarian Charity may be able to provide you with a bursary.
The Vegetarian Charity is a registered charity that exists to help needy vegetarians and vegans up to, and including, 25 years of age and also aims to promote knowledge of vegetarianism among young people within this age group.
The Charity awards grants to suitable projects in most parts of the world. Financial assistance can be given for educational courses and the relief of poverty. In general applicants may apply on their own behalf or, in the case of young children, a parent or guardian can apply on behalf of the child.
Visit the Vegetarian Charity Website here for more details.
The Vegetarian Charity runs a vegan cookery course with us at Parkdale too called
Vegan Ventures.
Please note that neither the Cordon Vert School nor the Vegetarian
Society are involved in the processing or approval of these grants so all
correspondence should be made to the organisation directly by the
applicant.
